Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, has hailed new summer signings Harry Maguire and Aaron Wan-Bissaka, after their 4-0 win over Chelsea in their Premier League opener on Sunday.
Marcus Rashford netted twice, while Anthony Martial and James also got on the scoresheet, as the Red Devils kicked off the new campaign with a big win.
Solskjaer told BBC after the game: “(It ended) 4-0 you can’t dream of more or expect more. But then again we are working on improving as a team and finding a style that suits us a team. We still need time but it is coming.
“There are a lot of disappointed players who wanted to be part of this start. But they wanted to be here and they’re happy to be part of a winning start. Winning is a habit.
“We were lucky to go in 1-0 up but in second half our nerves settled, our confidence grew.”
On Maguire and Wan-Bissaka, the Norwegian said: “I can see they (Maguire and Wan-Bissaka) are not phased by the price-tags. Football’s gone crazy but that’s just the market. They have cool heads on their shoulders. Harry has played with many of these players before. When you’re a good player you fit in straight away.”
