EPL: Tuchel confirms player to miss Chelsea vs Brighton game

Chelsea boss, Thomas Tuchel has suggested that Ruben Loftus-Cheek will miss his side’s Premier League clash with Brighton due to injury and positive COVID-19.

Recall that Loftus-Cheek missed Chelsea’s previous clash against Aston Villa last Sunday.

Chelsea will, on Wednesday night, host Brighton in a Premier League tie at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues head to the game after beating Aston Villa 3-1 in their last Premier League tie.

“We have infected people who have three vaccinations, we have infected players without vaccination, so we have everything,” Tuchel told Chelsea’s official website.

“Ruben Loftus-Cheek is injured and suffers from Covid [ahead of Chelsea vs Brighton game],” Tuchel added.

“So for the Brighton game, I need to talk to the doctors and to the physios and to the fitness department, and then we will try to find solutions.”
