Football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, has provided the latest contract update on two Chelsea players, Thiago Silva and Antonio Rudiger.
Rudiger and Silva’s contracts with Chelsea will expire at the end of the season.
Providing an update on both players, Romano in a tweet via his Twitter handle of Wednesday, said there are no big chances on Rudiger’s contract situation, adding that Silva will sign a new contract that will see him remain at Stamford Bridge until 2023.
Romano tweeted: “Thiago Silva contract extension with Chelsea is not in doubt. It’s just about paperworks to be prepared and signed in the coming weeks/months. He’s gonna stay until June 2023.
“Still no big chances on Rüdiger situation. No agreement with Chelsea, Real Madrid pushing.”
Meanwhile, both Rudiger and Silva have been impressive for Chelsea so far this season under their manager, Thomas Tuchel.
