The lawmaker representing Ikwuano/Umuahia North/Umuahia South federal Constituency of Abia State at the House of Representatives, Sam Onuigbo, has insisted that only the collective resolve and spirit of patriotism by Nigerians can foster an egalitarian and peaceful Society.
Onuigbo also assured that he will not relent in pushing for policies that will alleviate some of the sufferings the citizens have faced as people particularly in infrastructure, employment and poverty alleviation.
The federal lawmaker gave the assurance in his Christmas message issued to newsmen in Umuahia on Friday.
Rep Onuigbo reiterated his resolve to be the mouthpiece at the centre and assured that he is dedicated to offering services that will leave a signature of honour in all areas of lives as a people now and in a long time to come.
He also expressed his profound gratitude to the people of Ikwuano, Umuahia North and Umuahia south federal constituency for the gracious supports offered him so far, charging them to use this period of Christmas to remember that the life of Christ is the reason for the season.
The Abia federal lawmaker on behalf of his family, felicitated with the people of Ikwuano/Umuahia North/Umuahia south federal Constituency, and the entire Abians at yuletide.
He further asked God to bless and protect the entire constituents of IKwuano, Umuahia North, Umuahia south constituency, Abia State and Nigeria at large.
The message by Onuigbo partly said, “though we are faced with various challenges as a constituency, state and country, these obstacles are, however not insurmountable. With a collective resolve and the spirit of patriotism, we will build an egalitarian and peaceful society.
“In infrastructure, youth empowerment, health care delivery, human capital development and inclusion in national affairs, the modest achievements we have all jointly made are there for all to see”.
