Duties
Incumbent is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including keeping the warehouse tidy, clean, in good condition and making sure property and furniture is properly stored.
Has the day-to-day responsibility for warehouse safety and security, under the guidance of SHEM and POSHO, through policies determined by STATE. Incumbent is the team leader for 5 Warehouse Workers.
Qualifications and EvaluationsEducation Requirement:
Completion of Secondary School is required.
Experience:
Two (2) years experience in warehouse work is required, including work involving the safe lifting, storing, and movement of related goods.
Job Knowledge:
Knowledge of warehouse operations and procedures is required.
Knowledge of efficient use of warehouse storage space and ability to coordinate activities and stacking of items/equipment is required.

Language:
Good working knowledge Speaking/Writing/Reading in English is required.Â
Skills and Abilities:
Must be able to perform moderately heavy work, including the physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and make heavy lifts at times using appropriate safety equipment such as forklifts and other mechanical lifting aids.
Must be able to count stock, read property numbers, and record by use of a scanner. Must have basic typing skills for data entry and basic computer user skills (MS Word). Â Â
Must have a valid, current category E Nigerian driver’s license for a car.

BenefitsAgency Benefits:
Locally Employed Staff, including Members of Household (MOHs), and Third-Country Nationals (TCNs), working at the U.S. Mission in Abuja, Nigeria may receive a compensation package that may include health, separation, and other benefits.
For EFMs, benefits should be discussed with the Human Resources Office.
The pay plan is assigned at the time of the conditional offer letter by the HR Office.
