Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Trade Marketing Manager to lead and execute our regional trade marketing strategies.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing plans that drive market share growth across our product offerings and key markets.
This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, creativity, and strong analytical skills to optimize trade marketing initiatives.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Strategy Development and Implementation:
Develop and execute comprehensive trade marketing strategies to drive the visibility of Red101 App, Digital Services, demand on the marketplace, distributor and merchant acquisition.
Execution of trade activations and reporting the impact of trade activations in terms of returns on marketing investments.
Plan and manage monthly activations, including regional trade shows, events, and exhibitions.
Collaborate with the Sales, Growth and Product teams to align trade marketing activities with business goals and product launches.
Work closely with Retail Growth team to optimize picture of success through trade visibility deployment in retail, wholesale and key distributor outlets in open markets
Market Analysis and Insights:
Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape.
Provide actionable insights to guide marketing and sales strategies.
Performance Tracking and Reporting:
Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of trade marketing activities.
Prepare monthly plans and reports on campaign performance, market trends, and competitive analysis.
Channel Management:
Build relationships with leadership of market associations across multiple open markets in region
Conduct market square training sessions for market associations on new product launches, brand profit stories for Bill Payments, Digital Services and lending products.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key distributors, wholesalers and retailers to improve Net Promoters Score
Work closely with Retail Growth team to optimize brand visibility placement, pricing, and promotional activities.
Budget Management:
Manage vendors, trade marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources.
Track and report on the ROMI of trade marketing initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree, in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in trade marketing, preferably in a notable FMCG company.
Understanding of customer data platforms and data management platforms.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in marketing software and tools (CRM tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, etc, Magento.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights using Microsoft Excel, PowerBI, Tablu, etc.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent presentation skills with evidence using PowerPoint, Google Slides, etc.
Ability to travel as across the region on a need basis.
