Your Mission
The role of our Tendering Engineers is integral to how businesses win projects.
As a key part of the sales and business development function, the role works across various business teams to bring together compelling, customer focused proposals and tender submissions to win business.
As a Tendering engineer you will develop commercial capability, vital to businesses and valued across all our business sectors.

Match products to customer specifications and drawings by demonstrating knowledge of products.
Review customer specifications/drawings to ensure quote is technically compatible and competitive.
Coordinate with Sales Representative to determine and/or clarify project requirements to ensure quality output.
Incorporates use of technological capabilities to improve processes and efficiency.
Assists outside sales representatives in the preparation of customer presentations related to the quote, including comments on exceptions and built-in value.
May perform Bill of Material preparation for large, complex projects with the guidance of a Senior Bid & Proposal Executive or Manager.
Understand, analyze, document, and communicate contractual, technical and commercial terms and conditions relative to the company standard.
Maintain a current understanding of bid strategies and market conditions. Follows up on outstanding quotations to secure orders, improve quotation process and measure effectiveness.
About You
Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering Degree.
A minimum of 2 years work experience in sales or tendering.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and ERP/CRM related tools.
Excellent organizational skills.
Ability to build a sustainable and reliable relationship with the customer.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including C-level customers
