Job Title: Technical Product Manager
Location: Lekki Phase 1, Lagos
Job Description
You will be joining our team as Technical Product Manager. You will
work closely with with the product, operations and engineering team, setting timelines for the development of our mobile, web application and integrations with third-party web apps, mostly CRMs and ticketing solutions.
To be successful, you must be obsessed with our customers, have a strong technical background and project management experience.
The ideal candidate is someone who is very mission-focused.
You are motivated by building things that get shipped and have immediate impact in people’s lives, particularly our entrepreneurs.
You will work with a team of really smart people, and report to the CTO.
What We Expect
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our customers, their needs, challenges, and the competitive landscape
Oversee the entire product development process, from ideation to launch, ensuring that products are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
Support marketing by developing and reviewing product positioning messaging and other content.
Support sales by delivering exceptional demos to customers, giving them insight into the product, features and how it solves their customer retention needs.
Call customers and have regular interactions with them to understand their pain points and expectations.
Define and execute go-to-market strategies that drive product adoption and revenue growth.
Iterate on how the PressOne brand is expressed visually in the product, improving the app’s visual clarity, consistency, and delight.
Constantly review product engagement analytics, and make recommendations for redesigns based on consumer preferences.
Serve as a product evangelist and subject matter expert to the technical/developer community.
Coordinate beta tests.
Define success criteria for testing and product acceptance.
Collect and analyze feedback from customers, stakeholders and other teams to shape requirements, features and end products.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements, set timelines, and ensure successful product delivery.
Work closely with engineers to ensure we are delivering high-quality experiences to customers while moving as fast as possible.
Facilitate the creation and maintenance of proper product documentation.
Who You Are
You have at least 7 years work experience.
You have at least 4 years experience as a Software Engineer (Frontend or Backend).
You prefer to communicate with writing, than verbally. You document everything.
You care about customer experience, above everything else.
You are excited about helping entrepreneurs build successful businesses.
You have been involved in the entire lifecycle of a SaaS product, from idea to 100 customers.
You are naturally organised and structured.
You have a knack for identifying the root cause of any problem.

Our office is on Admiralty way, Lekki Phase 1. We run an hybrid working system, with most of us at the office twice a week.
We have been in operation for a year. We have gotten enough data to validate the opportunity, and are entering a growth phase. This is a great time to join us.
