Job Title: Supply Chain Specialist

Job Description

Identifying areas for process improvement and cost reduction within the supply chain.
Negotiating contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure cost-effective and reliable sources of materials or services.
Monitoring supplier performance and addressing any issues or discrepancies.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity by identifying data quality issues and working closely with IT and Operations teams to address them.
Coordinating the movement of goods, both inbound and outbound, to ensure timely deliveries.
Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analytics, and the financial services domain
Collecting and analyzing data related to supply chain performance, such as lead times, order fulfilment rates, and cost metrics.
Generating reports and providing insights to management for decision-making.
Gathering, analysing, and interpreting data from multiple sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights related to agent banking operations, customer behavior, and market dynamics.
Analysing demand forecasts and inventory levels to develop procurement plans.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align inventory and distribution strategies.
Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to effectively communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) and other relevant metrics to stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Sales, and Product Management, to understand business requirements and provide data-driven recommendations for process improvements, service enhancements, and revenue optimization.
Conduct in-depth analysis of agent network performance, transactional data, customer segmentation, and channel effectiveness to identify growth opportunities and provide actionable insights.

Job Specification

 Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Understanding agent banking operations, financial services, and relevant industry trends is a plus.
Proven experience as a Supply Chain Specialist or similar role, preferably in the financial services or banking industry.
Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Excel or similar platforms.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights and actionable recommendations.
Advanced knowledge of data modelling, data warehousing, and database concepts.
Familiarity with data manipulation languages and statistical analysis tools.
