We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Procurement Officer

Location: Urhonigbe, EdoEmployment Type: Full-time

Primary Responsibilities

Assist in the selection of appropriate suppliers and contractors, to promote good procurement practices with due regard to sustainability, ethical purchasing standards, and costing
Draft an appropriate service level agreement to properly evaluate the performance of suppliers, and report on this on a regular basis.
Make professional decisions in a fast-paced environment
Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data
Review and analyze all vendors/suppliers, supply, and price options
Develop plans for purchasing equipment, services, and supplies.
Work with internal stakeholders (HOUs/HBUs) to determine procurement needs, quality, and delivery requirements.
Responsible for order placement timing, supply/demand alignment, material replenishment, and supplier performance evaluation

Qualifications / Experience

Minimum of an OND in any Social Science course
Minimum of 5 years’ working experience as a Procurement Officer
Procurement Software and Asset Software experience is an added advantage
Age: 30 – 40.
Computer literacy qualification is essential. Proven ability to utilize and develop computerized spreadsheets and word-processing applications
