Job Title: Odoo ERP Administrator

Location: G.R.A Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description


As an Odoo/ERP Administrator with a focus on accounting, you will play a crucial role in the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of our Odoo ERP system.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our ERP system meets the needs of our accounting and finance departments.

Key Responsibilities


Odoo Implementation: Lead the implementation of Odoo ERP modules with a primary focus on accounting modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Financial Reporting.
Configuration and Customization: Customize Odoo modules to align with accounting processes and requirements. Configure settings, workflows, and reports to optimize efficiency and accuracy.
Documentation and Compliance: Develop and maintain documentation for Odoo ERP configurations, processes, and procedures. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains within the accounting function and other departments.
Proactively suggest enhancements to Odoo ERP configuration to better support accounting and other operations.
Data Management: Oversee data migration from legacy systems to Odoo ERP. Ensure data integrity and accuracy throughout the migration process. Develop data cleansing and validation procedures as needed.
User Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users on Odoo ERP functionality, processes, and best practices. Address user inquiries and troubleshoot issues related to accounting modules.

Requirements


Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
Proven experience (5 years) working as an ERP Administrator, preferably with a focus on Odoo ERP.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Hands-on experience with Odoo ERP implementation, configuration, and customization.
Proficiency in SQL, Python, or other relevant programming languages is a plus.

Salary
N150,000 – N250,000 / Month.
