The West African Centre For Public Health and Development (WACPHD-UOM-IGPH) is a non-governmental organization working on the improvement of health equity through sustained engagement with a core element approach that includes research, program delivery, technical assistance, and education will be providing technical support for the Key Population Size Estimation Study 2022 and requires the services of qualified personnel for a short-term implementation engagement.

In order to complete the field implementation process, we are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: MSM Virtual Mapper

Locations: Zamfara, Yobe, Delta and OgunSlots: 5 Openings (Zamfara (2), Yobe (1), Delta (1) and Ogun (1)Duration of engagement: 1 month minimum

Duties and Responsibilities

Plan and conduct interviews and provide clarity on study objectives to virtual community members during implementation.
Upload data in real-time.
Carry out the listing of virtual sites and enlist potential informants from the virtual sites.
Arrange for identified and selected virtual site MSM to be interviewed at a physical location.
Identify virtual platforms in which MSM network.
Profile virtual spaces and estimate the number of MSM.

Qualifications and Requirements

1 – 2 years of experience working with key populations.
Being a key population member of the target group is an advantage.
Possess good communication and organizational skills.
Residents in the selected state are strongly preferred.
The ability to speak the local dialect is desirable.
Proficiency and extensive knowledge of virtual space are required.
Experience with Geo social networking mobile phone Apps and sites is required.
Computer literacy is required.
