Job Title: Maintenance Officer
Location: Ughelli, Delta
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation
Carry out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues
Check electrical and hydraulic systems of buildings to ensure functionality
Sourcing and overseeing contracts and service providers for functions such as electrical and mechanical repairs, purchase of raw materials, cleaning, vehicle repairs, security, and technology
Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities
Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary with authorization from management
Monitor expenses and control the budget for maintenance. Do market survey and price verification of raw materials used for maintenance/ repair
Manage relationships with contractors and service providers
Monitors, maintains and performs standard repairs to building electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilation and cooling systems.
Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities.
Advising businesses on measures to improve the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the facility
Overseeing any renovations, refurbishments, and building projects
Oversee the fixing or repair of all official vehicles
Helping with office relocations
Ensuring employee and facility safety

Requirements

Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree / HND in relevant fields with 5 – 11 years work experience.
