We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Officer

Location: Apapa, LagosEmployment Type: Full-time

Job Description

Write reports detailing health and safety within their assigned research market.
Design strategies to reduce incidents of illness, environmental accidents, and other issues that may affect public safety.
Assess risks associated with tools and equipment, job sites, and work environments within their assigned research market.
Manage safety projects and analyze multiple studies at once
Use analytical skills and critical thinking to analyze data and compile it into usable material and reports
Investigate environmental accidents and other public safety concerns within their market.
Design training programs to provide safety awareness education.
Give presentations about current safety hazards based on market research to educate others about avoiding health, safety, and environmental hazards.

Requirements

Candidates should possess an HND / Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with 1 – 3 years relevant work experience.
Outstanding organizational skills
Diligent with great attention to detail
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and explain health and safety
Proximity is important. (Apapa, Tincan, Mile 2, Fetac).
Experience with facility management or site management
Experience in writing reports and policies for health and safety
Familiarity with conducting data analysis and reporting statistics
Proficient in MS Office; Working knowledge of safety management information systems is a plus
