The Congenital Heart Disease Foundation of Nigeria (CHDF) is a non-profit organization that supports children and persons with Congenital Heart Disease popularly called Hole in the Heart in Nigeria. The foundation is envisioned to be the leading charity organization in Nigeria supporting the CHD cause. Our mission “to create a paradigm shift in the current status of congenital heart disease in Nigeria through awareness campaign and advocacy; support; education and research promotion” states the 4 main areas we are focusing on to achieve our vision.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

 

Job Title: Grant, Fundraising, and Partnership Officer

Locations: Lagos & Ogun
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary


We are looking for an experienced Grant, Fundraising, and Partnership Officer who will drive the organization’s fundraising and partnership efforts.
The successful candidate will lead the development and implementation of fundraising strategies, identify grant opportunities, and build sustainable partnerships that further our mission.

Job Responsibilities


Develop and implement fundraising strategies aligned with CHDFNigeria’s goals.
Work collaboratively with the CHDFNigeria team to ensure compliance with grant conditions.
Monitor and report on the effectiveness of fundraising activities.
Identify and secure grant opportunities, and write high-quality proposals.
Build and manage relationships with donors, grant bodies, and partners.

Job Qualifications
Relevant qualifications or certifications in fundraising and grant management (essential).


At least 2-3 years of experience in securing grants or fundraising for NGOs.
Excellent communication, networking, and relationship management skills.
Strong proposal writing skills and familiarity with the grant application process.
Preference for candidates based in Lagos or Ogun states, but exceptional applicants from other states will also be considered.
