Job Title: Dentist

Job Summary

Our client is seeking to hire a highly skilled licensed Dentist to join their growing dental practice.
As a Dentist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional dental care to patients while maintaining the highest standards of professional ethics.
Your expertise in diagnosing and treating oral health issues, combined with your dedication to patient comfort and satisfaction, will be crucial in ensuring the well-being of patients.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive dental examinations to assess patients’ oral health.
Examine patient records and diagnose dental conditions and develop personalised treatment plans.
Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canals, dental cleanings and plaque removals.
Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes.
Stay updated on the latest dental techniques and technologies.
Adhere to all ethical and professional standards in dentistry.
Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
Prescribe medications as needed
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
Address patients’ dental concerns and answer their questions.
Collaborate with dental nurse/s to ensure efficient patient care.

Qualifications

Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS / BChD), Bachelor or
Dentistry (BDent) degree.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Empathetic and patient-centred approach to care.
Commitment to continuing education and professional growth.
Ability to work in a startup.
Dental practising licence and registration in good standing.
Minimum of 2 years experience post NYSC.
Experience using dental equipment and tools
Strong clinical skills and proficiency in dental procedures.

Remuneration/Salary
N300,000 monthly (slightly negotiable).
