Success Digest Growth Initiative is a Non-governmental organization founded in August 2015 and registered with the corporate affairs commission (CAC) in Nigeria with certificate number (CAC/IT/NO 80360) to provide microfinance and developmental services to retail business owners who are registered members of the organization. We provide Membership based micro-savings scheme, Business advisory services to men and women at the lower pyramid and Microfinance Training and mentoring.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Credit Officer

Location: Delta, Ekiti, Kwara, Lagos, Ogun, Ondo, Osun and OyoEmployment Type: Full-time

Job Description

Responsible for processing loan applications for clients
Prospect new SME clients and assist them with loan applications.
Prepares and executes loan contracts and arrange for disbursement of loan in kind.
Monitors the loan and follows up on the timely repayment.
Maintain contact and maintain good relationships with clients.
Ensure full compliance with all in-place.
Has the ability to analyse and interpret financial statements of the business in order to access the repayment capacity and financial soundness of the borrower.
Conducts loan appraisal, collects detailed information (personal, business, and guaranties), and arranges to open a new loan account.
Any other task as assigned.

Skills and Specifications

O’level, OND, NCE, HND, BSc
At least 0- 3 years prior experience in a Microfinance bank’s credit/SME department.
Negotiation and internal relationship building.
Sound communication skills.
Analysis and reporting skills.
Organization and time management skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Salary

N60,000.00 per month
Ability to commute / relocate.
