Job Summary

We are looking for a Skilled Auto Electrician to work in our busy automobile repair & maintenance center. Your duties will include installing and repairing electrical wiring, diagnosing problems with vehicle electrical systems, repairing damaged electrical parts, and maintaining electrical equipment for vehicles.
To ensure success in this role, you should have extensive knowledge of modern vehicle electrical systems, have a good eye for detail, and be able to problem-solve complex electrical problems.

ResponsibilitiesYou will have the following responsibilities but are not limited to:

Installing new vehicle wiring systems.
Providing customers with estimated time and cost for repairs.
Repairing and replacing faulty wiring or electrical systems.
Servicing electrical automotive parts.
Maintaining a clean working environment.
Installing and troubleshooting immobilizer and alarm systems.
Gathering information from customers about issues with their electrical systems.
Diagnosing electrical issues and proposing a course of action.
Communicating clearly and concisely to customers.
Completing job reports.

Requirements and Skills

OND / B.Sc / Certification from a vocational school or completion of an apprenticeship is a plus.
Proven experience as an Auto Electrician.
Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protection against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals, etc.
Excellent physical condition.
Good critical reasoning abilities.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage and handle multiple tasks.
Excellent knowledge of electrical and electronic components of vehicles.
Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods.
Ability to handle various tools.

SalaryN70,000 – N120,000 monthly.
