Job Description

The Key Purpose of this role is to monitor and control the utility process, operates utilities plant and equipment, and perform autonomous maintenance.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Plan and Prepare the Job
Operate plant and process equipment
Maintain a safe and healthy working environment
Stop the machine/process if it appears to endanger safety and quality of the processed product. If the stoppage is longer than 10 minutes, the Instrument Artisan must inform the Team Leader of the problem
Maintain the equipment according to good maintenance
Maintain housekeeping standards in his area of operation

Profile

Candidates should possess a B.Sc. / HND or its equivalent Degree in a relevant area of study such as Mech/Elect or Electromechanical
Good communication skills
1 – 2 years experience in similar role will be an added advantage
Problem solving skills
Great attention to details
Good understanding of modern maintenance practices
