Nollywood actress ands filmmaker, Omoni Oboli has sent her condolence to Afrobeat singer, Davido and his fiancée, Chioma Rowland over the death of their son, Ifeanyi Adeleke.
Taking to her Instagram page, the mother of three said she avoided posting and prayed that by morning, the news of Ifeanyi’s death wouldn’t be true.
Addressing Chioma and Davido, Oboli told them that people can’t feel the pain as much as they do but the world mourns with them and everyone is broken.
She also admonished friends and fans to let the couple and their families be at this time.
Omoni wrote:
“Struggled with posting last night, I thought perhaps if I don’t post, it won’t be true. “Cried like a baby even though I’m not personal friends with Davido and Chioma. I could barely sleep! Woke up this morning and it’s still true.
“I just want to say YOU ARE NOT ALONE! The whole world mourns with you. We certainly cannot feel the pain like you do but our hearts are broken! May God comfort you both and your families at this time. May The Holy Spirit who’s the giver of peace give you peace that no man can comprehend in Jesus name.
“May this strengthen your bond and the love in your family. Weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning. We will celebrate with you soon.
“May God comfort all who are mourning. Please my people, let us give this family the space they need to mourn in peace. If you have nothing good to say, say nothing. Let us keep the airwaves positive and full of light and love while we pray for them. God bless us all and comfort all who are grieving the death of loved ones. IT IS WELL”.
