Ace music video director, TG Omori has finally given in to the demands of controversial singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable.
This comes after the Zeh Nation boss repeatedly called him out for charging an ‘exorbitant amount’ to shoot the visuals for one of his hit tracks.
Recall that Portable had contacted Omori to shoot his music video, but was stunned when he was billed $50,000 (N37 million) to get the work done.
The “Ika of Africa” star found it outrageous and went online to rant aggressively, while calling out the award-winning director.
He questioned if he shoots videos for ritualists, and said he would rather use the money to buy land in his hometown. Read here and here
Following the incessant attacks, TG Omori has asked Portable to send the song so that he can shoot the visuals for him.
“@portablebaeby send your new song make we shoot,” he wrote on his Instastory.
Omori also said in a tweet that he understands Portable’s rage because he would feel the same way if he were in his shoes.
“Just like everybody I love portable and I’m not mad at him, if I was him I’ll feel the same way knowing i might never have a video better than zazoo. E reach to call the director out 7times everyday.”
