Talent manager, Prince Theophiluz, has encouraged emerging musicians not to sign with the Starboy, 30BG, or Spaceship record labels.
According to the talent manager, these record labels, which are owned by Davido, Wizkid, and Burna Boy, have gained money and are at the height of their careers.
He acknowledged that the young artists these musicians signed to their record labels did not have the time to be nurtured. He cited an example that the artist Davido signed after releasing his Timeless album is nowhere to be found.
He added that it will be difficult for these upcoming artists to make it in their careers because signing under these three record labels, Starboy, 30BG, or Spaceship, is like getting signed under a greater talent.
He emphasized that up-and-coming musicians should never consider contracting with a label that does not have the time to develop their abilities.
