Nollywood actor, Adewale Alebiosu, who is popularly known for playing the role of a native doctor or Ifa priest in Yoruba movies, has disclosed that some incantations he recited in movies affected him in real life.
Alebiosu shared his experience in a recent interview with BBC Yoruba. He said he thought he was only doing his job as an actor, unknown to him that the incantations would have an adverse effect on him in reality.
Adewale Alebiosu reveals
According to him, whenever he returns home after acting such movies, he would see strange beings who took the likeness of goats biting him in his dream.
“I never knew there was so much more to the incantations I was delivering. I thought I was just delivering my lines, not knowing there are repercussions to follow. Whenever I get home after the act, while I sleep I would see some strange beings and some would turn to goats and start biting me.”
He further warned upcoming actors who want to play such movie roles to be very careful and prayerful because the repercussion could be grave.
“I’m saying this to warn them so that they don’t end up regretting their lives or ending up miserably”, he said
