I date only men that are smarter than me – Tems [Video]

Popular Nigerian singer, Temilade Openiyi, also known as Tems says she only dates men who are very smart.

The ‘Crazy Tings’ crooner said that for a man to get her attention he has to be smarter than her and it is not limited to intelligence.

Tems stated this during an interview with Power House in New York City while being asked about the type of men she is attracted to.

The interviewer asked what it takes for any of the numerous men that shoot their shot, to get her to agree to a date with them.

The songstress explained that he has to outsmart her in intelligence and life such that there won’t be any manipulatio.

Meanwhile, the songwriter earlier recounted how there was a time in her life she stole food to survive.

Tems stated this while recounting her past struggles, adding that she was very broke and hopeless during that period.

The singer spoke while being interviewed by GQ magazine as she revealed that she used to visit an aunt to get food which she would then take home.
