Grammy award-winning Nigerian singer, Temilade Openiyi, professionally known as Tems, has stirred reactions online with her revelation that she doesn’t have the liberty to go out when she is in Nigeria.
This comes after the stunning singer recently came out to reveal how her lack of friends led to the beginning of her music career.
In a recent interview, she disclosed that Nigerians are usually perceptive and that people in the area always know when she lands and where she stays.
Tems acknowledged that although she is still noticed in America, where she presently resides, it isn’t as much as it is in Nigeria.
Tems claimed that Nigerians are always curious about what’s going on and have a strong interest in drama.
She admitted that she already tried disguise to go out in America when the interviewer advised she do so, but she was still noticed, therefore she is not hiding anymore.
Reacting to her revelation, Amafina wrote, “Tems I swear they are places you’ll walk to and no one will recognize you. Even the big 3 go out when they come back home. And that airhead woman, why will you immediately think there is no grocery store in Nigeria ?”
Oriade commented, “Even Wizkid Dey move around. Just say you don’t have friends and or you’re not much of a out going type”
