The MESSAGE:

May it please God that you can be accused of turning the world upside down for Jesus.

Listen very carefully to me this morning. In one of our texts, they called Jesus a mad man because what He was saying was not what was normal. They called Paul a mad man as well, because what he was saying was not normal. His messages were not normal. His prayers were not normal. His ministrations were peculiar. His holiness was strange. What others was doing, he could not do. He could not eat what others were eating. He could not go for the kind of parties others were going to. So, they took him as a mad man. Paul called the Corinthian Christians “babies” because there were divisions amongst them.

The fact that you call somebody a pastor does not mean that he is not a baby. There are baby members, baby ushers, baby pastors, baby overseers all over the place. That is why the Bible says “looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith”.

You should not make a human being your example. If Paul called them of those days “babies”, what do you think he would call us now? To be quite honest with you, if you ask for my assessment, I think we are less than the babies Paul was even talking about.

One of the first indicators of our childishness is the kind of prayers we pray. ‘O Lord, settle me, O Lord raise me, O Lord, prosper me, O Lord, heal me’. Children are always seeking for gifts, more than fruits. Only the mature ones will ask for the fruit of the Spirit. Only the mature ones will ask for Jesus’ kind of love. But a person who is only drinking milk cannot grow; and pastors are guilty of giving them this milk. If we all became what these people in the Bible became, our environment would have changed. All the problems we have now would be non-existent. But because the average Christian does not carry the power of God, is not living a holy life, does not evangelize, that is why we are the way we are.

If I decide to close the service this morning and ask all of us to go into the streets to evangelise, some will head straight to their cars, going away. They do not know how to witness to people. Some are even ashamed to witness to others. How can you witness to your boss when you are sleeping with that boss? How can you witness in a place where you have offended Christ?

I am praying that there will be somebody here that will say “Yes I am tired. I cannot go on like this. I must represent what heaven represents. I must represent what the apostles represented. My generation must look at me and say ‘this is a mad prophet. This one has changed the environment for Jesus’”, in the name of Jesus.

Can you raise up your right hand and shout this loud and clear:
Power that the enemy cannot understand, fall upon my life now, in the name of Jesus.

It is the same thing beloveth. All those men in scriptures that we read about their lives, they were mad men of God. Is it Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego you want to talk about? The King said “Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, were you the ones that said you will not bow down to my idols? Listen: at what time you hear the sound of the flute, dulcimer, harp, bow down and worship the image that I set up”. They answered him: “O King, live long. But look, we are not careful to answer you in this matter. Before, we have been careful but on this particular matter, we are not careful”.

They meant that they did not bloody care whether he was the king or not. There was no respect in that particular matter again. They said “on this matter of the image you put there, we prefer to burn than to bow, because we believe that the God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the fiery furnace and from your hand. But then, if that God now decides not to deliver us, so be it. We still prefer to burn than to bow.” That beloveth, is madness.

For some people, to remove ordinary earrings is a problem. To dress properly to church is a problem. The kind of dresses some people cannot wear to other religious places, they want to wear to the house of God. Some will be busy arguing at the gate of the house of God with the ushers.

The MFM is not interested in the shape of your legs or laps, all they want is to dress properly. You are going to the Almighty God, dress with respect. This place is not a fashion parade ground. So once you have been told, go back home and dress properly. Some find that difficult to cope with, meanwhile there are some others out there preferring to burn than to bow down to idols. Those are the mad people. A little bit of insanity is necessary to make any progress.

If you want to win anything either a race or anything else, you have to go a little mad. Observe the lives of the men in scriptures that we read about. When you go mad with the kind of Christianity that you practise, your life will change. For some of us, the angels that are always with us are just waiting for us to exhibit that holy madness. Your angel of blessing now could be waiting for you to display a feat of spiritual madness before attending to your case.

In the company of holy mad prophets:

• They do abnormal things.
• They take risks and damn the consequences.
• They utter strange and unbelievable things.
• They do not care whether you are mocking them; they are immune to mockery.
• Sometimes when they start praying, they begin to attack what you cannot see. You may wonder “what type of prayer is this? What are they saying?” That is holy madness. And like I have told you here before, the enemy is embarrassing many of us because our Christianity is too weak. It is not wild enough.

God is looking for wild Christians, those who will operate the way the men of old operated. Those who will operate the way those prophets operated. To move to some level of spiritual height, a bit of spiritual insanity would be necessary. Some will need to fast. Some will need to cut off certain things from their lives. For some, their friends will look at them and say “excuse me, are you alright? Are you okay? What is wrong with you?”

TODAY, WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?

1. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, you need to do so.
2. You need to repent from every known sin. All sinners are just fighting God.
3. You need to join the company of Holy mad people. Those are the kind of people that can change anything. The company of people who decree out, decree in. The company of those who speak the word and the enemy flees. You must practise holiness to a mad extent that others will even harass you and say “but others too are Christians here. Are you the only one here?”

I do not know how many people really want to join that company. But there is a price to pay. The price is that you must be ready for your life to change. Change of life completely. People who saw you before and see you now will know that there is a great change indeed.

8. Powers submitting my name to the covens, you are liars, die in the name of Jesus.
9. Evil birds flying in the night against me, crashland, in the name of Jesus.
10. Occultic embargo targeted against me, die by fire, in the name of Jesus.
11. Powers hired to curse me, fall after the order of Balaam, in the name of Jesus.
12. Poison and magic of the enemy, swallow your owners, in the name of Jesus.
13. Ladders of the enemy in my life, die in the name of Jesus.
14. Holy Ghost, take my hands off my life and possess me, in the name of Jesus.
15. Inherited weaknesses in my life, die in the name of Jesus.
16. My name, my virtues, jump out of any coven, in the name of Jesus.
17. Jehovah the story changer, arise, let my story change, in the name of Jesus.
18. Miracles that will make me forget my past troubles, manifest, in the name of Jesus.
19. Powers behind my strong man, die in the name of Jesus.
20. Powers of wasted labour, I am not your candidate, die in the name of Jesus.
21. My past labours arise, become testimonies, in the name of Jesus.
22. Powers hunting for my life, you are liars, die in the name of Jesus.
