MESSAGE:
Isaac was living in a place that had experienced famine. His fathers wells had been blocked, yet he sowed in the land. He didnât allow the failures and opposition of the past to determine his action in the present. This is the mistake many believers make today. When in serious financial crises, they hoard things, refuse to sow or give to God and people because they want to save or be financially smart.
I remember when we were building the first auditorium in the Redemption Camp several years ago; prayed for a major financial breakthrough to happen because we were cash-strapped and had limited time before the programme. Instead of God sending me a helper, He instructed me to give a violent offering and, as difficult as it was, I obeyed. This is because I was sure it was God speaking, even though it didnât make sense to me. My obedience brought about the desired breakthrough.
Sowing is a big secret of good success and it must be done on fertile ground, hence the need to be careful about where to sow. When you sow as expected in faith and on the right ground, God will grant you a breakthrough.
KEY POINT
Allow yourself to be guided by the Holy Spirit on where and how to sow your seeds.
