TOPIC: Causeless Curse [Open Heaven for Teens 18 October 2022]
MEMORISE: As the bird by wandering, as the swallow by flying, so the curse causeless shall not come. Proverbs 26:2
READ: Numbers 23:23
23 Surely there is no enchantment against Jacob, neither is there any divination against Israel: according to this time it shall be said of Jacob and of Israel, What hath God wrought!
BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: 2 Thessalonians 1:1-12, Isaiah 65-66
MESSAGE:
A curse invites supernatural forces to fight against someone. It is also a negative pronouncement that is powerful enough to alter the destiny of the fellow it is pronounced on. I decree that if you’re under any curse, it is destroyed in Jesus’ name.
As a child of God living righteously before Him, you should not fear anyone who curses because it cannot take effect unless it is lawfully warranted. If you haven’t done anything wrong to someone who curses you, it will be like water poured on a rock. In addition, as long as you are on the Lord’s side, you’re insured against any generational curse in your family.
However, a lot of teenagers invite curses upon themselves by their negative behaviours and speech; perhaps, this is the reason some grow to become unfulfilled or unsuccessful adults. Beloved, when you have Gods blessing on your life, no curse will affect you, but be careful with your words and conduct as you relate with people daily.
PRAYER POINT
Pray for 15 minutes using the name of Jesus to break every curse upon your life.
HYMN: There Shall Be Showers Of Blessing
CHORUS
Showers of blessing,
Showers of blessing we need:
Mercy-drops round us are falling,
But for the showers we plead.
