FIRE SCRIPTURE: Exodus 3:16-22 (KJV)

16 Go, and gather the elders of Israel together, and say unto them, The Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob, appeared unto me, saying, I have surely visited you, and seen that which is done to you in Egypt:

17 And I have said, I will bring you up out of the affliction of Egypt unto the land of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, unto a land flowing with milk and honey.

18 And they shall hearken to thy voice: and thou shalt come, thou and the elders of Israel, unto the king of Egypt, and ye shall say unto him, The Lord God of the Hebrews hath met with us: and now let us go, we beseech thee, three days’ journey into the wilderness, that we may sacrifice to the Lord our God.

19 And I am sure that the king of Egypt will not let you go, no, not by a mighty hand.

20 And I will stretch out my hand, and smite Egypt with all my wonders which I will do in the midst thereof: and after that he will let you go.

21 And I will give this people favour in the sight of the Egyptians: and it shall come to pass, that, when ye go, ye shall not go empty.

22 But every woman shall borrow of her neighbour, and of her that sojourneth in her house, jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment: and ye shall put them upon your sons, and upon your daughters; and ye shall spoil the Egyptians.

MFM Devotional For Today MESSAGE:

Grace is a divine support provided by heaven to achieve what human effort cannot. Grace is the supernatural energy to operate beyond normal when compared with others. It is when what you do not deserve is given to you effortlessly. In our Fire Scripture for today, we can see that Noah was not the only man on earth then, but he received grace from God. The grace of God will bring you favour in the presence of men. When you are operating under the grace of God, even your worst mistakes will be converted to testimony. As a mortal man, there is always a level where our strength could be inadequate; then grace is needed.

Grace is released into us when we put all our hope in God. When you get to the level where you realise that your effort is exhausted, then you quickly turn to God and ask for His grace. Grace is the love of God given to the unloving person. Grace is the peace of God released to the trouble-hearted. It is the unmerited favour of God. It is reaping where you did not sow. It is getting good things you do not deserve. It is also not getting what you deserve. When you deserve judgement and grace speaks for you, then you are pardoned.

By grace, we get numerous benefits. It is by grace that we received pardon for our sins (Isaiah 43:25). We live and are sustained in this wicked world by the grace of God. The talents and gifts we are enjoying are given by grace. That we are useful to God is just by His grace. The fact that you are still in faith since you were converted is by the grace of God. That is why it is important that we grow in grace.

God’s work of making us more like Jesus happens not because we have earned it or by our own effort, but by the grace of God (2 Peter 3:18). Grace is one of the beautiful gifts that God offers to people who have done absolutely nothing to deserve it. It is indispensable in every believer’s journey of life. Therefore, ask for it and do not abuse it.

PRAYER POINTS:

MORNING

1. O God, my Father, move me from grass to grace, in the name of Jesus.
2. I move from insult to results, in the name of Jesus.
3. Mercy of God, speak for me, in the name of Jesus.

EVENING:

4. I refuse to be wasted, in the name of Jesus.
5. God of all flesh, make me candidate of Your divine favour, in the name of Jesus.
6. As God lives, I will not depart from His presence, in the name of Jesus.
7. I move from grace to grace, in the name of Jesus.

79. I come against every spirit of demonic objection set up in the heart of my parents against my divinely ordained spouse, by the power in the blood of Jesus, in the name of Jesus
80. Lord, let divine wisdom fall on all those who are supporting me in this matters, in the name of Jesus
