TOPIC: Divine Response To Human Suffering.

BIBLE TEXT: “So I have come down to rescue them from the hand of the Egyptians and to bring them up out of that land into a good and spacious land, a land flowing with milk and honey…” – Exodus 3:8

Life presents us with potential problems. These problems vary from one individual,group,community and from one nation to the other. The Christian understanding of suffering centers on the cross of Jesus Christ. At the cross, Jesus fulfilled his Father’s plan, rescued his church, and ushered in the end of all suffering for all who believe.

Even though believers in Christ still suffer as they walk through this cursed world on their way to glory, but they do so in hope. They understand that there has never been a human dilemma that did not have a divine solution. In Psalm 55:22, we are admonished to cast our cares on the LORD and he will sustain us;he will never let
the righteous be shaken. Brooding over a bad situation can sweep us off in the currents of helpless fear but turning to God is what brings solutions. The loving, common Parent of all is an ever-present help in times of trouble.

While in Egypt,the children of Israel experienced the miraculous power of God. When they trusted God and cried unto Him,He heard their cry and set them free from their bondage. Notably, Jesus’ ministry was beset with one challenge after another. Yet because of his reliance on God he was divinely confident that a solution was always at hand. He healed disease, annulled sin, and even destroyed death. We also can trust in divine Love. When we do, our experience,though not problem-free, will be solution-oriented.

In His plan which God put together from all eternity, He prepared everything that was necessary for the rehabilitation of mankind from sin and sorrow. The central point of this divine plan was the sacrifice of atonement made by Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary. Thus,Christ remains the ultimate solution to all human problems. By carefully reading through the Holy Scriptures as well as other Christian authors, it can be affirmed without reservation that Christ was,is and remains the solution to human problems.

People of God, at such a time like this we need to hold on to Jesus. Indeed times are hard and things are tough but Jesus remains the solution. You can trust in the power of God to save and deliver you from every fundamental problem of life. As a nation,we can trust in the power of the omnipotent God to rescue us from the messy situation we find ourselves in.

PROPHETIC PRAYER:
I pray for you today:

1. May you experience the miraculous power of God in your walk with Him in Jesus name.
2. This month,you will escape disaster
3. This month,you will experience breakthrough
4. You will not rotten in any form of imprisonment
5. This month,you will celebrate your victory
   So shall it be in Jesus name. Amen
