Nokia G11 Plus is more or less like an upgraded variant of the Nokia G11. The major difference is the upgraded camera with Nokia swapping out the 13MP triple rear camera for a 50MP dual rear camera. Nokia G11 Plus sports a 6.52-inch display, 8MP selfie camera, and 5000 mAh battery.

Design and Display

Nokia G11 Plus is built on a plastic body that is available in Lake Blue and Charcoal Grey. On the back you have two cameras and LED flash vertically aligned. A fingerprint sensor is also provided on the back of the Nokia phone.

On the front, the Nokia G11 Plus has a 6.52-inch IPS display with 720 x 1600 pixels resolution. The display supports 90Hz refresh rate, making it great for watching fast paced action like in movies or gaming.

The display is covered in tough Glass with selfie camera is housed in the V-notch in the front. This affordable android phone is IP52 certified for splash resistance.

The Cameras

Nokia G11 Plus comes with a dual camera setup on the back. Though this is a reduction in camera count from three in the G11, the increase of the main camera from 13 megapixels to 50 megapixels could make this better for photography.

The 50MP wide-angle lens features an f/1.8 aperture and offers Phase detection autofocus (PDAF). The main camera is supported by a 2 megapixel depth camera. The 2MP macro lens was sacrificed.

In the front, sitting on the dewdrop notch is an 8 megapixels camera with f/2.0 aperture for taking selfies. You can record full HD videos on both cameras.

Hardware and Software

Nokia G11 Plus runs on the Unisoc T606 (12 nm) octa-core chipset with a Cortex-A75 quad-core processor and a Cortex-A55 quad-core processor both clocked at up to 1.6GHz with a Mali-G57 MP1 GPU for graphics. This is the same processor we saw in the Nokia G21 and G11 as well as models like the Samsung Galaxy A03 and Tecno Spark 8C.

In addition to the 3GB RAM / 32GB storage model and the 4GB RAM / 64GB storage model offered by the G11, the G11 Plus also adds a 3GB RAM / 64GB storage model. A dedicated slot is provided expanding your storage capacity by up to 512GB.

The android phone has a 5000 mAh battery and promises a good battery life with Nokia boasting 3-day battery. You also get 10W fast charging capability.

Nokia G11 Plus comes with Android 12 out of the box. One of the great selling points of this smartphone is security and regular updates with Nokia promising 3 years of monthly security updates and two Android OS updates. This means you would probably get Android 13 updates or even Android 14 updates on this phone when they become available.

Connectivity

The G11 Plus features dual SIM support with 4G LTE network support for fast downloads. You also get 3.5mm audio jack, USB Type-C (USB 2.0), Bluetooth 5.0, Dual-band Wi-Fi, and side fingerprint scanner.

Nokia G11 Plus price starts at around $149 or €133. The Nokia G11 costs around 63,500 Naira in Nigeria, 15,500 KES in Kenya and 950 GHC in Ghana.
