With his contract expiring, Salah is not only joined by fellow stars Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold in the final year of their deals, but he is also rumored to be a target for lucrative offers from the Saudi Pro League.

Despite turning 33 next summer, Salah remains instrumental for Liverpool, boasting an impressive record of nine goals and seven assists in just 15 appearances this season.

Under the management transition from Jurgen Klopp to Arne Slot, the team has excelled, achieving 13 wins, one draw, and only one loss thus far.

In a thrilling match against Brighton, Salah scored the decisive goal, propelling the Reds to the top of the Premier League table after Manchester City’s unexpected defeat against Bournemouth. His contribution continues to underline his value to the squad.

Back in September, Salah hinted that this season might be his last at Anfield, but uncertainty still looms, and fans are eagerly hoping for a contract extension.

In a recent tweet, Salah expressed his sentiments towards Liverpool supporters, stating, “Top of the table is where this club belongs. Nothing less. All teams win matches, but there’s only 1 champion in the end. That’s what we want. Thank you for your support last night. No matter what happens, I will never forget what scoring at Anfield feels like.”

The phrase “no matter what happens” implies that Salah’s future remains unclear, yet it is evident that he aims to add another trophy to his collection before any potential exit.

His goal against Brighton marked his 164th in the Premier League, moving him to eighth place in the all-time rankings, surpassing Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler, who playfully congratulated Salah on the achievement.
