Job Title: Team Member, Group Product and Underwriting

Location: Lagos

Job Overview

The purpose of the role is to sustain a market leading position in the health insurance market segment within Nigeria through effective and efficient oversight of Underwriting, product and pricing processes.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with underwriting, risk profiling and profitability assessment of Group products for both new and renewal businesses, including local and international products.
Ensure implementation of approved pricing and renewal decisions for the Underwriting Period.
Support Portfolio performance monitoring and implementation of corrective actions with the support of the sales team.
Liaise with Risk, Actuarial & Legal in case considerations as applicable.
Any other responsibilities that might be required by the Team lead and Head, Health Underwriting, product and pricing from time to time.

Role Qualfication

B.Sc from a reputable tertiary institution.

Work Experience:

1 – 3 Years total work experience.

Required Skills and Competencies:

Technical knowledge of health underwriting or health operations
Good interpersonal relationship and communication skills.
Basic knowledge of medical terminology.
Strong Leadership traits.
