The Candel FZE is a manufacturing company engaged in the development, production, marketing and distribution of agrochemicals, specialised fertilisers, seeds and allied products in Nigeria. It is located in the Lekki Free Zone, Ibeju- Lekki, Lagos; near Dangote Refinery.

Job Brief

We are looking to hire an experienced Production Supervisor to supervise factory workers and ensure that factory targets are met.
This person should have graduated from one of Nigeria’s Universities with a minimum of Second Class Honors, Lower Division in Mechanical, Production or Mechatronics Engineering.
Our Ideal candidate should not be more than 35 years old.

Job Responsibilities

Developing and implementing innovative strategies to streamline factory operations.
Screening, recruiting and training new factory workers.
Collaborating with quality control managers to establish and execute quality control processes.
Preparing production reports and submitting them to key decision-makers.
Regularly inspecting finished products to determine whether they meet established quality standards.
Motivating factory workers to continually achieve factory targets.
Ensuring that factory machinery is in good working order.
Analyzing production data to identify and resolve any production issues.

Job Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree (minimum of second class honors division) in Mechanical, Production or Mechatronics Engineering with relevant work experience.
Demonstrate outstanding problem-solving skills and resolve any issues that may derail production.
Should have exceptional communication, management, and leadership skills to ensure that factory operations run smoothly.
