Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Marketing Intelligence Analyst with a strong background in market research, trend analysis, business service expansion analysis and data-driven decision-making.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of using data to influence business strategies especially in the FINTECH WORLD.
This role requires a deep understanding of market dynamics, customer behaviour, and competitive landscapes, as well as the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
Fintech Expertise: Research, source and negotiate with merchants/ partners for profitable financial and money transfer deals on technical platforms.
Product/ Service Expansion Research: Research and analyse profitable fintech services, present approach and deliver strategies to implement them.
Market Research and Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive activities. Analyze market data to provide insights that inform marketing strategies and business decisions.
Data Collection and Management: Develop and manage data collection processes, ensuring the accuracy and relevance of marketing data. Utilize advanced analytics tools to gather and interpret data from multiple sources.
Performance Metrics: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to market intelligence activities. Measure the effectiveness of marketing strategies and campaigns based on data-driven insights.
Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with marketing, sales, product development, and executive teams to ensure that market intelligence informs decision-making across the organization.
Continuous Improvement: Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in market research and analysis. Continuously seek opportunities to enhance the company’s market intelligence capabilities.
Trend Analysis: Monitor and analyze market trends, consumer behaviour, and industry developments to anticipate changes and opportunities in the market.
Competitive Intelligence: Conduct competitive analysis to understand the positioning, strategies, and strengths/weaknesses of competitors. Provide regular updates and strategic recommendations based on competitive insights.
Reporting and Presentation: Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders. Use data visualization tools to present data in a clear and impactful way.
Strategy Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate market intelligence into marketing strategies and business planning. Assist in the development of go-to-market strategies and product positioning.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Statistics, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Market Research, Data Analytics) is highly preferred.
Experience: A minimum of 8 years of experience in marketing intelligence, market research, or a similar role. Experience in [specific industry or sector] is a plus.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, SPSS, Tableau, Power BI). Experience with CRM systems, data management tools, and market research software.
Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and provide insights that align with business goals. Strong understanding of market dynamics and competitive landscapes.
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data analysis and reporting.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and provide actionable insights.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders at all levels.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with advanced data analytics techniques (e.g., predictive modeling, segmentation).
Knowledge of digital marketing analytics and online consumer behavior.
Previous experience in [industry/sector] with a proven track record of delivering impactful market intelligence.
