Along with Norwood and Hunter, the movie stars Andrew Burnap (The Chaperone) and Neal Huff (Moonrise Kingdom, The Post).
Norwood, who is best known as the singer who simply goes by Brandy, previously starred in 1997’s Cinderella, 1998’s I Still Know What You Did Last Summer, 2013’s Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor, and 2023’s Best. Christmas. Ever! She also voiced Leah Estrogen in 2001’s Osmosis Jones and will soon be seen in Disney’s Descendants: The Rise of Red.
Norwood previously said of the movie on Instagram, “Can’t wait for y’all to see this. God you’re Awesome!!!! I trust you with my entire life. Thank you for this amazing opportunity to work with this unbelievable cast, crew, and the studio everyone wants to work with and of course my Eggers fam.”
