Monument Distillers Nigeria Limited (MDN) launched in Nigeria in March 2019 with the acquisition of the 1960 Rootz Bitters brand and the state-of-the-art manufacturing plant. Since then, the company has gone from strength to strength, moving Rootz’ production facility to Lagos.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Technical Operator – BlendingLocation: Ikorodu, Lagos

Job Description
This role is required to safely operate and maintain the blending plant to produce a consistent product of the right quality at optimum cost.
This role reports to the Blending Supervisor.
The candidate will have the following duties and responsibilities:
Perform quality analysis and ensure process quality and productivity are achieved on your shift.
Manage PIMS & POMS and take corrective action on negative trends.
Maintain safety & housekeeping standards.
Use escalation procedures to ensure that the time to react is reduced.
Apply 5S standards and practices in the workplace, operate and control the MDN blending process according to the SOPs.
Implement and comply with the company’s safety, health & environment and procedures.
Monitor & control production processes on shift using the correct tools as per the MDN standards (OWS, 5S, etc)
Interpret and implement production plan for shift.
Qualification & Experience
A minimum of OND from any reputable institution.
Technical / Trade Certificate related to technical operations.
Ability to use own initiative with own with confidence, using judgment to escalate when necessary.
Ability to spot improvement opportunities fast.
Minimum of Three (3) years of blending experience in the FMCG industry.
Knowledge of Operating and maintaining equipment and processes according to specifications and standard operating procedures.
