Job Title: Procurement Manager

Responsibilities
Develop and execute procurement strategies to meet the needs of the organization, including sourcing of materials, equipment, and services required for oil and gas operations and projects.
Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers / vendors based on criteria such as quality, price, reliability, and compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms, minimize costs, and mitigate risks while ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and finance teams, to understand procurement requirements and develop procurement plans that support project timelines and budgets.
Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers, fostering open communication, resolving conflicts, and addressing performance issues to enhance collaboration and achieve mutual goals.
Implement inventory management strategies to optimize inventory levels, minimize carrying costs, and reduce the risk of stockouts or excess inventory.
Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on procurement activities, including spending trends, supplier performance metrics, and cost-saving initiatives.
Manage the procurement process from requisition to receipt of goods/services, including issuing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and resolving discrepancies or issues with suppliers.
Monitor market trends, industry developments, and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and strategic partnerships.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulations, including adherence to ethical standards, anti-corruption laws, and supplier diversity initiatives.
Requirements
B.Sc Degree
5 – 8 years experience.
