Eric is a famous music star known for singing, composing, and playing the guitar. He’s considered one of the greatest guitarists. He co-founded successful bands like Cream, Yardbirds, Blind Faith (1969), and Derek and the Dominos (1970).

He was working on an album with BB King, and she was studying graphic design and organizing events for Giorgio Armani. They first talked at a party organized by Melia for Clapton, despite her initial orders not to chat casually.
Even though they briefly broke up after their first meeting, they got back together. In June 2001, they had their first child, Julie Rose Clapton.
They later married at St Mary Magdalen Church in Ripley, Surrey, in January 2002, when Sophie’s dad was 56 and her mom was 25.

Conor Clapton, passed away at the young age of four. This happened in March 1999 when he fell from the 53rd floor of their New York apartment.
Reports say that Conor was playing around the apartment, waiting for his dad to pick him up. Unfortunately, a janitor had left one window open, and he fell out of it.
Conor, just four years old at the time, lost his life instantly. This heartbreaking event inspired Eric Clapton to write the hit song called “Tears in Heaven.”
