Jerome Akor is looking forward to coming up against his compatriot, Terem Moffi.
Akor’s Montpellier will entertain Moffi’s OGC Nice in a Ligue 1 clash on Saturday.
It’s the first time the duo will be facing each other.
“It’s going to be a great game, and I know many fans back in Nigeria will be tuned in to watch,” Akor told SCORE Nigeria.
“Moffi has done very well in Ligue 1, and he’s one of the top strikers here now. What he has achieved in France has inspired players like me coming behind.
“We (Montpellier) need to secure a victory to climb up the table. We now have to pick ourselves up after the loss at Parc des Princes to fight for our rightful place.”
Akor has scored seven goals in 10 appearances for Montpellier this season.
Moffi has registered three goals and two assists from the same number of matches.
