Uniport Female Student Found Dǝad In Her Apartment, Sparks Police Investigation

In a shocking turn of events, the lifeless body of Adaeze, a second-year Accounting student at the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT), was discovered in her off-campus residence in Aluu on Friday, November 3.
The devastating news has sent shock waves throughout the university community.
Upon receiving the distressing report, UNIPORT’s Dean of Student Affairs, Professor Chima Wokocha, accompanied by university officials and the police, promptly went to the scene.
When they arrived, they found a bottle of an unknown substance by her side, suggesting a possible connection to her untimely demise.

Her grieving parents have been notified of the tragic incident.
The Rivers State Police Command PRO, Grace Iringe-Koko, confirmed the devastating news and assured the public that a thorough investigation had been launched to uncover the circumstances surrounding her death.
Initial findings from the Divisional Police Officer indicated the presence of foam emanating from her nose and mouth, as well as an insecticide.
Prompt medical attention was sought, but sadly, she was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.
In the wake of this tragic event, some Uniport students took to social media, expressing concerns about the alleged random arrests of students and residents in the vicinity where her lifeless body was discovered.


The police have yet to comment on these claims, but it is hoped that an investigation will shed light on the incident and bring solace to the grieving community.
