Nigerian fashion designer, Veekee James, has faced significant backlash on social media for seemingly overshadowing her employee at her wedding.
The stylist, who recently got engaged to her lover Femi, graced the wedding ceremony in style last weekend and was honored as the ‘mother of the day’.
She took to her Instagram page to share a video of her grand arrival and entrance at the wedding venue.

In the video, Veekee, who wore a stunning white traditional attire, was seen stepping out of her car to the cheers and adulation of the aso-ebi girls, all clad in purple.
As if that was not enough, she also danced into the hall with the ladies, drawing everyone’s attention to her.
She captioned the post, “POV: It’s your staff’s wedding, and her colleagues just had to show out with their boss.”
The clip has sparked mixed reactions on social media, with many criticizing Veekee for seemingly trying to outshine her employee on her wedding day.
