Job Title: Assistant Warehouse ManagerLocation: Abuja (FCT)Employment Type: Full-time
Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Warehouse Manager to support our warehouse operations.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing our supply chain and ensuring the efficient and organized handling of goods within our warehouse.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in overseeing the daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping products.
Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement and logistics, to ensure seamless operations.
Generate and analyze reports related to warehouse performance and inventory control.
Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager to maintain inventory accuracy and manage stock levels.
Implement and enforce safety and security procedures to protect warehouse staff and products.
Supervise and train warehouse personnel, ensuring a productive and motivated team.
Monitor equipment maintenance and coordinate repairs as necessary.
Assist in the development and implementation of warehouse strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field is a plus (Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related).
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
Proven experience of at least 4 years in a supervisory/Managerialrole in warehouse operations within the FMCG industry.
Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
Knowledge of inventory management and control.
Proficiency in using warehouse management software.
Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
