Football pundit, Alex Crook has suggested the two players that will cost Arsenal the Premier League title this season.
Crook believes that Arsenal’s two options in the number nine position, Eddie Nketiah and Gabriel Jesus, are not capable of helping Mikel Arteta’s side win the Premier League this term.
Jesus and Nketiah have been burdened with the responsibility of leading the attack for the Gunners in the last two seasons.
The duo scored a combined total of 15 Premier League goals for Arsenal as the Emirates club finished second in the league, behind Manchester City last season.
However, Crook has expressed his doubts about the chances of Jesus and Nketiah helping Arsenal win the domestic league this season.
Crook also suggested that Arsenal should sign Brentford striker Ivan Toney if they want to challenge the likes of Manchester City for the title.
“I don’t think Arsenal will win the league with Nketiah or Jesus as their number nine,” Crook said (via TBR football).
“I think if they do get Ivan Toney and he can hit the ground running it gives them a great chance.”
