Job Title: Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Officer

Location: Port Harcourt, RiversEmployment Type: Full-time

Job Description

We are seeking a highly qualified Health, Safety, and Environment Officer to join our team. As an HSE Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees and the protection of the environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

Developing and implementing safety policies and procedures.
Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Conducting regular safety inspections and audits.
Providing HSE training and awareness programs.
Investigating incidents and accidents and recommending preventive measures.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of safety.

Qualifications / Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of working experience in an industrial catering firm.
Experience working offshore is an added advantage.
Professional certifications in HSE (e.g., NEBOSH, CSP) are preferred.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
The ability to work in offshore environments is a plus.
