Mohamed Salah’s lawyer and adviser, Rammy Abbas Issa, has indicated that the Liverpool winger could be earning up to £1million per week, according to The Guardian.
Issa told a Harvard Business School, HBS, study that the staggering sum would be a “conservative” expectation for Salah.
He also revealed that the Egypt international was very close to leaving Anfield, before he eventually put pen to paper on a new three-year deal.
Salah had entered the last year of his deal and there were concerns he would leave after months of failed negotiations.
But the Egyptian forward has signed a fresh contract and committed himself to Liverpool until June 2025.
According to Issa, Salah’s new contract, combined with third-party endorsement deals, will see him earn £1million-per-week.
