Manchester United manager, Erik ten Hag has berated Sofyan Amarabat for giving away a needless free-kick that led to Crystal Palace’s winning goal on Saturday.
The Red Devils fell to a 1-0 defeat against Roy Hodgson’s men in front of their own supporters.
Amrabat started the game at left-back and bundled Jordan Ayew over to give away the free-kick that resulted in the goal, with the Ghana forward seemingly going nowhere over on the right.
From Ebere Eze’s deadball, Joachim Andersen produced a stunning strike in the 25th minute.
“First of all, the free kick, we need more control.
“It is not necessary to make a foul there. Then the ball is coming into the box and it is not good defending,” Ten Hag told Sky Sports.
