Arsenal boss, Mikel Arteta has told fans of the club that he has no plan of benching his summer signing, Kai Havertz.
The Spaniard wants the fans to rather offer the German some support.
Havertz joined the Blues in a £65million deal from Chelsea this summer but has not been to score a goal or provide an assist in his opening four matches.
Addressing the press ahead of their Premier League game against Manchester United on Sunday, Arteta expressed his love for Havertz.
“I’ll tell you what I feel about him, that I love him and I see his qualities every day in training.
“His workrate is excellent, a lot of the things he does at the front of the team is so good, the visual one,” he said.
He said that apart from scoring goals and making assists, the former Chelsea forward possesses all other qualities.
Arteta, who called on the fans to love the Germany international just like every other Arsenal player, believes it is a matter of time before he starts finding the back of the net.
