Transfer: Leicester City want £18m for Iheanacho

Leicester City are looking for around £18m to sell Kelechi Iheanacho.

Iheanacho has less than 12 months on his contract and is not willing to sign an extension.

Crystal Palace have strong interest in the forward but are not willing to match Leicester City’s asking price.

The Eagles value the Nigeria international around £10m-£15m.

Roy Hodgson’s side have lined him up as a potential replacement for Frenchman Phillipe Mateta, who has been linked with a move to Bundesliga club, RB Leipzig.

Leicester City may be forced to lower their asking price to avoid losing Iheanacho for nothing next summer.
