Job Summary
Are you a dynamic and experienced Human Resources professional looking to make a significant impact in the fast-paced and demanding world of the oil and gas industry?
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Human Resources Manager.
As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our workforce, promoting safety, and driving our business success.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic HR initiatives that align with the company’s objectives and support our growth in the oil and gas sector.
Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives to cultivate a workforce that thrives on varied perspectives and experiences.
Stay current with industry trends and labour regulations, adapting HR strategies as necessary to meet the evolving demands of the oil and gas sector.
Collaborate on succession planning efforts to identify and develop future leaders within the organization.
Drive change management processes related to new technologies, processes, and market shifts.
Lead the recruitment process for a range of technical and non-technical positions, ensuring the acquisition of top talent in engineering, operations, safety, and administration.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver comprehensive onboarding and training programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of our workforce.
Foster a positive and inclusive work environment by addressing employee concerns, mediating conflicts, and promoting engagement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, working closely with safety and compliance teams to create and enforce robust protocols.
Oversee compensation and benefits strategies, ensuring our packages remain competitive within the industry and align with our employees’ needs.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree or relevant in Human Resources, Business Administration
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop HR strategies that contribute to business success.
Proficiency in HR software systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Proven experience (5) as an HR Manager in the oil and gas industry or a related field.
Human Recourses certification
In-depth knowledge of labour laws, regulations, and compliance within the industry.
Strong experience in talent acquisition, onboarding, and employee engagement.
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
Salary RangeN300,000 – N400,000 / month.
